The Mapleton Economic Development Authority (EDA) is an independent advisory board comprised of seven members appointed to support economic growth and development within the City of Mapleton. The EDA is responsible for researching, reviewing, and making recommendations to the City Council on matters related to economic development, business retention and expansion, housing, and community development opportunities.
The EDA works to identify strategies that strengthen the local economy, encourage investment, and support long-term community vitality. This may include reviewing development proposals, exploring funding or grant opportunities, and advising on policies or initiatives that promote sustainable growth.
The Mapleton EDA meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 1:00 p.m. Meetings are held at the Mapleton Fire Station and are open to the public.
